The Rain Within
Andy Deane is known specifically for his role in the long-standing goth-punk band
Bella Morte. The Rain within changes tone, to focus on the classic synth-wave constructs of the 1980’s. Strong vocals share space with synthetic vocals, sweeping pads, and analog environments. The Rain Within combines the cold synthesizers of John Carpenter and Vangelis colliding with the soulful, catchy pop structures of The Psychedelic Furs and Depeche Mode. Dance beats pound a path to the future as heartfelt lyrics draw the listener back with nostalgic words of love and loss.
Needing an alternate outlet to explore his musical ideas and styles that did not fit into God Module, Jasyn Bangert created Hexheart. The band is a stark departure from the dark Industrial legacy Bangert has built with his other work. Enlisting longtime collaborator Andrew Pearson on synths and backing vocals along with guitarist Patrick Hogan the band took shape and the debut record “Midnight On A Moonless Night” was written.
Hexheart combines Darkwave and Synthpop electronics, post-punk inspired guitars, rhythmic electronic beats and dark melodic vocals. Inspired by classic bands like The Cure and Joy Division to current artists like Cold Cave and Drab Majesty. The result seamlessly combines influences from the past and the present with a relevant, original sound all their own.
