Spooky Empire Film Festival Features Stranger Things
Spooky Empire Festival, Stranger Things Star Millie Bobby To Attend
Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown will be coming to the dark side! The phenomenal actress cast in the role of Eleven, in the Netflix sensation Stranger Things, will make a grand appearance at Spooky Empire: Rock N Roll, Horror, Halloween, Tattoo & Film Festival.
“Stranger Things has taken over and this is what everyone is talking about these days! We’re thrilled to have Millie Bobby Brown and cannot wait to see the love and excitement that we know our fans will give her.”
Gina Mongelli, Co-owner, and event producer of Spooky Empire
The Drama, Horror, Mystery, Stranger Things, was written and directed by Matt and Ross Duffer, and Shawn Levy, and co-written by Justin Doble, Paul Dichter, Jessica Mecklenburg, Jesse Nickson-Lopez, and Alison Tatlock. The synopsis to Stranger Things reads as follows;
In a small town where everyone knows everyone, a peculiar incident starts a chain of events that leads to the disappearance of a child – which begins to tear at the fabric of an otherwise peaceful community.
Dark government agencies and seemingly malevolent supernatural forces converge on the town, while a few locals begin to understand that there’s more going on than meets the eye.
Millie Bobby Brown’s performance as Eleven is phenomenal. Eleven was being held as a government experiment and forced to do bad things for her father, Dr. Martin Brenner (portrayed by Matthew Modine). Luckily she escapes her prison. However, her captors will stop at nothing to get her back.
Eleven meets Mike (portrayed by Finn Wolfhard), Lucas (portrayed by Caleb McLaughlin), and Dustin (portrayed by Gaten Matarazzo), who are all searching for their best friend, Will (portrayed by Noah Schnapp), who disappeared after playing a board game. They soon find out from Eleven, that their friend is very much alive, but he’s in another realm, and that they will be in danger if they look for him.
Alongside Millie Bobby Brown, Spooky Empire will have guest appearances by some of Horror’s greatest legends, including Doug Bradley (Hellraiser), Kane Hodder (Se7en), Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Tony Moran (Halloween), and Bill Johnson (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2).
Spooky Empire will take place October 7 – 9, 2016, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. For more information, and to purchase tickets, visit: SpookyEmpire Official Website
