A couple of dimwitted teens gets chased by a killer dressed in a bunny suit.

DecayMag.com Bunnyman Bunnyman MassacreBunnyman is also known as “The Bunnyman Massacre”. The film is a horror exploitation concept directed by Carl Lindbergh. We start off with a bus full of elementary school-aged kids. They get trapped and stranded after a bad accident leaves the bus driver dead. The kids are then slaughtered by the “Bunnyman”,  a psychopathic killer. Fast-forward to the present day. A slew of young women hiking and camping in the woods get kidnapped and are taken hostage. They’re abused and humiliated by the psychotic “Bunnyman” and his deranged, woman-bashing brother. Together, they play a brutal, sadistic game of cat-and-mouse with the women.

Plot – Even though this isn’t the first time we’ve seen helpless people getting chased around and tortured by overgrown animals and creatures, the plot for “The Bunnyman Massacre” isn’t half bad. It’s a good idea.

Practical Effects – Finally, I can actually say something good about “The Bunnyman Massacre”, no thanks to director Carl Lindbergh for completely missing the mark and murdering what could have been a potentially semi-decent film. I give credit to the makeup crew for doing a decent job on the makeup and wardrobe. It gives the film justice.

Scare Factor – If you’re looking for scares, “The Bunnyman Massacre” does not deliver. Just your ordinary cheesy torture exploitation with absolutely no substance whatsoever.

Performances – I don’t know which is worse; the movie in general, or the acting. The acting in “The Bunnyman Massacre” is beyond horrible. Not only are the killing scenes and special effects are cheesy, but the victims in the movie are retarded.  I wanted to pull my hair by the stupid decisions they made.

Closing Thoughts

When watching “The Bunnyman Massacre”, you would think Lindbergh just woke up one morning, rolled out of bed, got a cup of coffee, and thought “I think I will make a movie”, and then proceeded to make the movie with no outside preparation.
