Luke Hemsworth leads the cast. His works include Infiniti, The Anomaly, and Westworld. Encounter is an ode to the classic Sci-Fi movies of the 70’s and 80’s. Yet, it offers a new twist to the genre. It explores loss and grief in an unexpected and thought-provoking way.
Thinking back to the 70’s and 80’s in Sci-Fi brings great memories. You think of films such as Star Wars, Star Trek, Alien, and Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Too many to list all. These are some of the most iconic films from that era. A timeless collection in the history of modern cinema.
It’s always great when filmmakers pay homage to works of earlier decades. Paving the way for the new generation. Encounter has already received a positive response. Let’s hope the film lives up to the hype.
