The cast stars
First look images for Flay have dropped earlier this week. Observing them, you can see the entity that’s highlighted in the trailer, which is dark and suspenseful.
The trailer follows a woman who suspects that someone has tried to kill her. As she and a friend investigate further, they come across similar cases of other victims. they head down a dark path, the course becomes unclear. The trailer progresses, a dreamlike vibe ensues. The viewer can’t distinguish dream from reality.
That the woman suspects that the assailant is a ghost, and not to mention the synopsis speaking of a restless spirit, leads to speculation that the film has a supernatural feel to it. Or perhaps, there is an evil entity involved. Director Eric Pham even states that Flay is a terrific ghost story and that he fascinated by ghost stories and mythologies behind them.
Pham is known for his phenomenal visual effects.
His projects include Sin City, Grindhouse, Red Planet, and The Mask of Zorro. Flay would mark his debut feature film where he serves Director and Producer. His first directorial production being Project K.A.T., a Sci-Fi short.
