Goddess of Love was part of the official selection at Film4 FrightFest and the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival. Jon Knautz co-wrote the screenplay with Alexis Kendra. Knautz also serves as the director of the film. Kendra stars as the protagonist, a lonely, eccentric woman named, Venus.

As per our report issued late June 2016, Goddess of Love is part of a slate of films aimed for Fall 2016 release. Terror Films will manage U.S. distribution of Raven Banner releases. More announcements surrounding The deal will be expected in the weeks to come. The news centers on a recent multi-picture deal between Terror Films and Raven Banner.

In contrast, Raven Banner Releasing will handle the Canadian distribution. Automatic Entertainment will oversee distribution for foreign markets. Goddess of Love will distribute across major digital, EST and video on demand platforms. Expected soon is a specific release date.

The synopsis reads as A mentally unstable woman begins a volatile descent into madness when she suspects her lover has left her for another woman.

Goddess of Love is a psychological thriller that centers on the instability of jealousy. This in itself is a terrifying scenario that outshines fabricated monsters and demons. Bassed on the synopsis the film will touch on sentiments and scenarios most members of the audience can relate with.

Goddess of Love director and co-writer Jon Knautz stated the following regarding the film’s North American rights acquisition by Terror films.

“I’m glad to have found the proper home for Goddess of Love with Terror Films and I’m excited to unleash it this fall.”

Alexis Kendra, lead and co-writer added the following

“I’m thrilled to be working with Terror Films and I hope the audience loves the film as much as we loved making it.”
