The Havana Darkness story centers around Carlos Carrasco, who is a historian, living in New York. He finds this manuscript written by Ernest Hemingway, and he travels to Havana, Cuba to prove it’s authenticity.
During his journey, he uncovers the Murder House and the murders that have taken place there. When
Carlos and his friends, John and Karen, visit this Murder House, they become trapped within the building and abducted by mysterious assailants that have devious plans for them.
Havana Darkness has a familiar, but a different ring to it. Here, you have a group of curious people, who gets their hands on a mysterious manuscript written by a famous author that could possibly be the original hard copy. The only way to find out its origins is to dig deeper and search for the truth.
The search for the truth could be a dastardly search. Like in so many movies featuring the infamous “Necronomicon” (The Book of the Dead). We’ve seen this in such movies as The Evil Dead, and The Dunwich Horror amongst many others.
The detail that this mysterious manuscript encases deranged murders that take place in a decrepit building just adds the cherry to the cake. But, the old age question is: “How far are you willing to go to find out the truth?”
Havana Darkness does not yet have a release date, but should release in 2016.
