Inmate #1: The Rise of Danny Trejo is currently in production. The enticing Documentary is directed by award-winning filmmaker Brett Harvey. It’s co-written by Scott Dodds. There is no official release date, but it is slated for Fall of 2018.

At 23, he was sentenced to San Quentin for selling a $30,000 bag of heroin to an undercover agent. From bad to worse, he boxed his way through the prison jungle, winning fight after fight and learning self-discipline along the way.

The personal Documentary follows world renowned actor, Danny Trejo. Trejo is a marvel to many in the film community, including myself. He’s starred in countless cult hits, including From Dusk Till Dawn, Rise of the Zombies, Machete, and Halloweed. These film only list a few of Trejo’s Horror hits.
Of course, his filmography spreads through all genres of cinematography. This includes voice overs from animation films. Regarded as a universal actor Trejo offers spectacular talent. He will more than likely become an icon and legend, if he isn’t one already.
Trejo has worked with some of the most influential names in the industry. This includes Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez.
