Between the 1st of October to the 4th of October 2015 The Mile High Horror Film Festival will bring shivers to Coloradan Horror fans. This year, Mile High Horror Film Festival marks its fifth annual milestone and the event is set to take place at The Alamo Drafthouse located in Aspen Grove, Denver.

News of this year’s event reveals a phenomenal line up of both classic and modern horror films. Firstly, Mile High Horror Film Festival in conjunction with media partner Fangoria will celebrate the tenth anniversary of Rob Zombie’s “The Devil’s Rejects” with a tribute screening. In addition, actor Sid Haig who portrayed Captain Spaulding in “The Devil’s Rejects” film will be in attendance.

Mile High Horror Film Festival will feature retrospective screenings of classic horror films each with guest appearances of notable horror icons. The schedule includes; the tenth anniversary of “The Descent” with Director Neil Marshall, the thirtieth anniversary of “Return of the Living Dead” with scream queen Linnea Quigley,  and the thirty-fifth anniversary to Stanley Kubrick’s “The Shining” with Actresses Lisa & Louise Burns, most commonly know from their role as the iconic Grady Daughter twins .

A special unrated 35mm version of “Hatchet” will also be screened, with special guest Writer/Director Adam Green and the legendary Kane Hodder. A Q&A event with Neil Marshall moderated by filmmaker Adam Green will proceed the screening of horror anthology film;”Tales of Halloween”
