Overview

The Action, Science Fiction film, Occupation had great success in Austrailian cinemas. It was no surprise to hear news of an immediate sequel and perhaps an expanding franchise. Film Mode Entertainment announces the premiere of Occupation: Rainfall at this year’s American Film Market (AFM) event. Filmmaker Luke Sparke pulled no stops in crafting a compelling narrative. According to the press release Occupation: Rainfall features;

….extraordinary postproduction and mind-blowing visual effects by many world-renowned VFX houses, whose credits include Star Wars, Blade Runner and more.

The cast for Occupation: Rainfall features A-list talent including Actor Ken Jeong and Daniel Gillies. The duo will join the Temuera Morrison, Dan Ewing, Stephany Jacobsen, Aaron Jeffery, Zac Garred, Charles Mesure and Trystan Go all of whom were cast of the first installment, Occupation.

Occupation: Rainfall is in production. Filming will occur in and/or around the Australian areas of Hunter Valley and the Gold Coast.

Luke Sparke joins a growing list of Austrailian filmmakers that are putting a spotlight on the region with their Horror, Science Fiction, and Thriller based contributions. Other Horror related content announced at the 2018 American Film Market (AFM) includes the Psychological Thrillers The Haunting of Sharon Tate, and Room For Rent and the Horror, Sci-Fi reboot, Rabid.
