American Beast has a captivating story and plot. It transfers between the Present Day and the Past. The Past is set back decades ago and unfolds like a first-person narrative. It also has a personal/intimate tone and setting.

The mysteriousness of the creature in the film builds a lot of intensity. This is effective. American Beast Solitude

American Beast has a tendency to linger and progress slowly.

The creature holds suspense and keeps you anxious but it isn’t revealed until the last few minutes of the film. The fact that it doesn’t appear often was a little disappointing. American Beast Solitude
