When this goes wrong, Frank finds himself and his family in trouble and he’s forced to unleash his rage he fought so hard to keep contained.
When Gina gets abducted, Frank is ready to do whatever he has to do to get her back. By any means necessary. But this also means that Gina now knows about his past he has tried to keep from her.
The cast stars
Cinematographer Mike Hechanova does an awesome job. He is no stranger to this aspect of cinema. Hechanova’s credits are 8:46 and The Golden Scallop among others. He’s also received the award for Best Cinematography.
The cast performances are superb in particular, Kevin Interdonato and Tom Sizemore. Interdonato turns on the best portrayals of “the beast within the man”. He paints a man on a clean streak from his ruthless past and tries to keep that going. That is until his brother gets him wrapped up in shady business. Now, with his wife’s life at stake, he’s forced to bring out the beast within him.
Interdonato won many awards including Best Actor and Breakout Action Star. His works include Dirty Dead Con Men, The Sopranos, and Blue Collar Boys. Sizemore portrays a ruthless shark, and a good one I might add. His projects are notable and speak for themselves. He’s won several awards, including Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor. Sizemore starred in Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, Heat, and Natural Born Killers.
The practical effects are superb. Denise Germinario served as Costume Designer and ties the characters in uniform. The wardrobe was convincing without being cliche and over the top. The special effects avoid being mediocre. Violent scenes heightened the intensity of the film.
Bad Frank is not a jump scare, and it’s not intended to be. It’s very suspenseful and it succeeds at this. It shows how brutal people can be, which is a scary concept. However, few directors and filmmakers who attempt this theme succeed at the psychological intimidation. Germinario’s film pushes the limits without going too far. Bad Frank is a great cinematic experience. It has a dark plot that unfolds favorably. Director Tony Germinario does a great job at the execution.
The musical score feels Intense with dramatic sounds apparent in action/thriller packed movies. Michael Long is the Composer. His works include The Lake on Clinton Road.
Bad Frank asks the question; “how far would you go to protect the ones you love?” To see Frank turning into this hostile person is both exhilarating and shocking, as he becomes very ruthless.
The Bad Frank official movie trailer shows a glimpse of how ruthless man can be. Both Frank, who is expected to be the good guy but with provocation and turns bad, and the bad guys, who threaten him and his family. It shows how dark and intense the film is. You see the personalities of the main characters. It puts you in the minds of both the antagonists and the protagonists. This film is also a great example of how a character can play both an antagonist and a protagonist and do it well.
