Hunt For The Skinwalker is a documentary about the most intensive scientific study of a UFO and paranormal hotspot in human history.
UFO research and related paranormal events have gain popularity over the years and it has much to do with digital platforms such as YouTube. A quick search can garner a long list of sightings and mock reports on the phenomena. Also, with high definition capabilities in our mobile devices persons are scanning the skies hoping to capture anomalies.
The interest of UFOlogy always garnered the curious. There are many sub-topics on the subject such as cattle mutilations and Area 51 being the most familiar. We now have more television series that delve on the UFO phenomena and its interrelationship to our Earth history. Within the realm of UFOlogy, there are reports cited by scientific yet defy logic.
The Skinwalker Ranch also was known as Sherman Ranch is a much talked about topic among UFO investigators and serious enthusiasts. Bordering the Ute Indian Reservation The Skinwalker Ranch is in West Uintah County, Utah. In the early nineties (90’s) journalist George Knapp documented the paranormal activity from the owner of the estate. Much as the Stardust Ranch in Arizona, The Skinwalker Ranch hosts malevolent red creatures, aliens and flying orbs, this is according to report gathered.
George Knapp and Colm Kelleher co-author Hunt for the Skinwalker: Science Confronts the Unexplained at a Remote Ranch in Utah based on their research. The duo is said to have experienced incidents that include cattle that vanishing and/or were mutilated, and objects emitting magnetic pulses.
The novel now receives a feature documentary release titled, Hunt for the Skinwalker
Hunt for the Skinwalker is the latest documentary release by The Orchard. The feature examines the history behind this enigmatic plot of land. Although a staple in UFO research many casual devotees on the subject are unaware of The Skinwalker Ranch and its past. MMA commentator, podcast Host Joe Rogan, and Former WWE wrestler turned politician turned Jesse Ventura are two well-known media personalities that have examined the purported haunted location.
The material presented in Hunt for the Skinwalker is intriguing and eye-opening. Interwoven are various talking head points between the interviewer and George Knapp with collections of vintage, never before seen footage. Insightful degrees of commentary is throughout the feature yet there was the random opinion that sparks debate. For instance, Real-estate developer Robert Bigelow purchased The Skinwalker Ranch in 1995, soon thereafter Bigelow’s fringe science research unit, The National Institute for Discovery Science (NIDSci) set up shop to investigate and secure evidence.
Bigelow is a pivotal part of The Skinwalker Ranch storyline and by far the most controversial. Yet, Hunt for the Skinwalker downplays Bigelow’s relationship with the U.S. Government and the funding he gained for his probe on paranormal studies. What does he know and/or has discovered and what is he doing with the intelligence he has gathered? Bigelow is a real estate mogul with a Business Administration degree from Arizona State University. Yet, he has pumped million into fringe science research and the study of UFOlogy. Bigelow also raises eyebrows for contracting MUFON (The Mutual UFO Network) and establishing on-call investigative to secure crashed UFOs or other extraterrestrial contacts. Bigelow Aerospace in recent years created inflatable space environments for NASA.
Yet, for viewers familiar with The Skinwalker Ranch tale the cited material feels all too familiar. Accounts of bulletproof wolves talks of red-eyed creatures, cattle mutilations, and orbs are nothing new. To hear these descriptions of the paranormal repeated once again feels rather stale. The documentary is much welcome and expected yet there were hopes of a shred of evidence that seizes a new awareness of the unknown. For this critic, the only frame in the documentary that communicated this view was a clip of surveillance footage showing a ghost building metamorphosing on the horizon.
Hunt for the Skinwalker serves as a valuable preparatory piece for newcomers to the subject. Yet, the feature raises more questions than answers. The combined material presents a peek into the top-secret world known as The Skinwalker Ranch. This documentary remains devoted to the authority material and while that seems convenient there is room for more analysis. There is a further in-depth narrative to this tale than a paranormal plagued plot of land and a privately sponsored science team coming to conduct an inquiry. Many hardcore UFO researchers have devoted years seeking to correlate the dots between Bigelow, The Skinwalker Ranch, The U.S Government, and Bigelow Aerospace. Hunt for the Skinwalker avoids these issues like the plague and thus develops into a one-sided examination on possible alien visitation and/or infiltration.
