A family’s road trip takes a dangerous turn when they arrive at a secluded mobile home park to stay with some relatives and find it mysteriously deserted. Under the cover of darkness, three masked psychopaths pay them a visit to test the family’s every limit as they struggle to survive. Johannes Roberts directs this horror film inspired by the 2008 smash hit The Strangers.

Ten years after the release of The Strangers a sequel gets its belated release. The marketing engine operates at maximum force in getting plenty attention to this home invasion sequel. The antagonists; Man in the Mask, Dollface, and Pin Up Girl developed into the focal aim of this film.

At least those were the rumors that circulated during production. It is said The Strangers Prey At Night presents a backstory on the methodical, murderous trio. The recent issue of promo videos refers to this narrative.

Actress Emma Bellomy portrays the role of Dollface, Actor Damian Maffei assumes the role of The Man In The Mask and Actress Lea Enslin portrays Pin Up Girl. 

Posted on the 27th of February 2018 via YouTube is a set of sinister videos, each focusing on the titular characters. It is challenging to establish which of the two are terrifying, the visuals or the backdrop melody. Tiffany’s “I Think We’re Alone Now” gets revitalized with an aggro-electro feel complete with raspy vocals. The song fits the survival Horror vibe presented in The Strangers Prey At Night.

Am an aficionado of home invasion films and in my opinion The Strangers became archetypal to the brand of Horror. Amidst all the hype and promos I assume the sequel can continue the mystique that set up the initial film. Check out the videos below, and weigh in your opinion.
