Synopsis:

“Taking inspiration from the director of “The Human Centipede” films, the warden of a notorious and troubled prison looks to create a 500-person human centipede as a solution to his problems.”

Overview:
The deranged Dieter Laser returns in this third installment of Tom Six’s “The Human Centipede” trilogy. Only, he’s not playing the mad scientist, Dr. Heiter, who started it all in The First Sequence. He returns as Bill Boss, a deranged prison warden, who, in order to get control over his prisoners, enlists the help of the famous director, Tom Six, who directed “The Human Centipede (The First Sequence)” and “The Human Centipede (The Full Sequence)”. Together, Boss and Six constructs the longest human centipede known to date.

Pros:

Plot – The deranged warden of a notorious prison seeks the help of a famous director to enforce order and obedience in his unruly, savage prisoners. So, they come together to construct a 500-person human centipede. It doesn’t get any better than that.

Cons:

Direction – The plot was a great idea. Unfortunately, executing that idea has gone way off the deep end. There are so many wrongs with the direction of “Human Centipede (The Final Sequence)”, you’d wonder why Tom Six even bothered to film it.

Closing Thoughts:

From the man that gave us the genius “The Human Centipede (The First Sequence)”, you would have expected more greatness from the franchise. Unfortunately, greatness fell downhill after the first installment. The second installment, “The Full Sequence” didn’t live up to my expectations, and the third installment, “The Final Sequence” was more horrible than the second installment. Tom Six started off with a bang, but quickly ended with a dud.
