Dangerous People shows the path of three psychopaths who abduct and torture their victims in brutal ways. The trailer shows an interesting, but shocking cinematic experience. Upon the first watch, movies in comparison that come to mind are The Devil’s Rejects and The House at the End of the Street. Some scenes rank high in comparison here. The overall concept.
The filming technique and the musical score correlate to create the psychedelic experience. This is an innovative idea that intensifies the viewer’s experience. You’re already drawn in to want more. The special effects and cast performances look like they lean more towards the mediocre side of the production. You get a trash, sleaze type of production when you take into consideration certain scenes.
Dangerous People looks like a solid production with a lot of potentials. The mediocrity of it all shines through. By the same token, this may be the purpose of this production, which looks to follow the sleaze film trend.
