Synopsis:

The story follows a uniquely troubled man who finds himself on a downward spiral induced by painful memories of his dark and distant past. Taking refuge from his long days and nights of driving aimlessly on the open highway, he stops off in a small town, where he happens to cross paths with an old acquaintance. This acquaintance becomes dangerously intrigued and determined to discover the skeletons hiding in the drifter’s past.

Overview:

Craig Calamis makes his directorial debut with the Thriller, The Drifter. According to IMDB Calamis nears a decade of working in film production. To his credit are seven short films to which he served as editor. Five of which Calamis served as director and writer. Here’s an interesting find, in 2009 Calamis worked on the short film bearing the same title.

Genre distribution company, Terror Films will release Calamis’ award-winning film on the 6th of June 2017. Global distribution will target major Video on Demand (VOD) platforms. In anticipation of The Drifter worldwide release Terror Films unveiled the one-sheet and an exclusive film clip titled “Listen to me, you little shit”
