When a couple visits a remote cabin and cross paths with a compulsive liar, their vacation takes a dramatic turn for the worse.

A night away from the city seems like the right idea when Harry (Christopher Lee Page) and Rose (Caitlin Crommett) drive to a cabin in the woods. Unaware of an event that has occurred, their night of peace turns into a fight for their lives as a masked man is interested in taking it. Director: Johan Bodell Writer: Erik Kammerland A Night in the Cabin

First Impressions

Automatic suspicion enters my mind on who the masked killer is and curious to understand why. Flashbacks of another man who stayed in the cabin suffered an ill fate. Now the question is: will Harry and Rose follow? The setting is magnificent. A crisp blue lake surrounded by peaceful trees and the green landscape takes our mind away from the city but the setting of fear. Director of photography, Charlie Doan did a wonderful job of capturing such natural beauty and natural lighting for the film. The score keeps me intrigued and my heart pounding.

In conclusion

A Night in the Cabin seems to be a heart pumping thriller full of suspicion and psychotic cases. I’m curious about the cabin’s mystery and the keeper of its grounds and what the history is.
