A year after her identical twin’s disappearance, Maude Ashton is still haunted by visions of her sister’s violent abduction. Convinced she is still alive, Maude follows the clues to a derelict caravan park.
The trailer for the forthcoming psychological Thriller, Rabbit has a running time of two (2) minutes. For this brief duration, there are enough visuals to interpret the story and/or narrative direction. From a production standpoint, it is unmistakable that Director, Writer Luke Shanahan will provide the viewer with dynamic performances. The chemistry between characters feels convincing, and this is essential for setting the mood to a psychological Thriller.
From what we can conclude, the protagonist, Maude Ashton, is in search of her twin sister, this after an accident of some sorts. The trailer moves into different angles though with a purpose. Rabbit is the psychological Thriller that portrays a character with various personalities either precipitated by a trauma or from a long-standing emotional predicament. It will fascinate to see how the chain of events unfolds. From the build, there is a hint of an elaborate twist manifesting in ACT III.
The poster design embedded above alludes to the mental facet of Luke Shanahan’s feature film debut. There is much symbolism found on the poster, one notable example is that of a fragmented mind. Yet, the downside to the artwork is how generic and ordinary it is. There are similar designs in Jason Zada’s 2016 supernatural Thriller and Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s Action Drama. Perhaps the poster may get a change before the Rabbits get is Video On Demand release on October 16th, 2018
