For twenty years VNV Nation has electrified clubs and influenced many with their multilayered music style and invoking lyrics. In 2018 VNV Nation claimed headline entertainment news with the withdrawal of longtime-percussionist Mark Jackson. Jackson left VNV Nation to pursue other music endeavors. Spearheaded by Ronan Harris VNV Nation have now delivered its tenth (10th) studio album entitled, Noire.
Following the album release, now available via Metropolis Records (embedded above) is the world tour, set to begin in North America. The first stage of the VNV Nation Noire World Tour will be at Austin, TX on November 16, 2018.

Many have distinguished VNV Nation for their live performances. Ronan Harris has an instinct to feed and work from the energy of the crowd. In 2016 DecayMag was in attendance at the Compendium tour at the PlayStation Arena. VNV Nation intensified their performance with a cameo by Apoptygma Berzerk frontman, Stephan Groth.
Noire, as with every VNV Nation album is a remarkable and awaited compilation of musical arrangements that delve into social and political commentary. According to the press release, Ronan Harris describes his latest music form as “dark and intense energy that doesn’t hold back.” A first for VNV Nation is the release of their first music off from the tenth (10th track of Noire titled; Where is the Future.
In our interview in 2016, Harris alluded to the fact that music videos were not relevant. It seems time and the outlook on music videos has changed. VNV Nation enthusiasts welcomed the music video release with joviality. The band’s first official video for “When Is The Future?” was released via the band’s social media on October 8, 2018. In the first 72 hours it had been live, the video garnered over 177,000 views via Youtube and Facebook. The clip takes us on a tour of Tokyo, following Harris throughout the city, the mood matching the dramatic soundtrack.
