Exclusive Interview Jed Brian (22:25)
On Wednesday, December 20th, 2017 I had the pleasure to speak with filmmaker Jed Brian.
The topic of conversation centered on the drive and business aspect for his full feature
release Unlisted Owner now available on Amazon.
The synopsis to Unlisted Owner reads as follows:
The ‘Owner House’ has been vacant for several years because of its very dark history but
with the recent series of murders it has been taken to the next level. A family who just
moved in has been murdered causing the curiosity of a group of friends to get the best of
them. Deciding to break in and investigate with hand held cameras, would be the worst
decision of their fun filled night. The terrifying and suspenseful footage has been edited for
the film ‘Unlisted Owner’.
Unlisted Owner is a found footage film and although it is one of my least favorite genres of
horror. I find the passion for the project to be fascinating and inspiring.
Below is an excerpt from the official press release
Unlisted Owner, was written and directed by Illinois Native Jed Brian. Starring Gavin Groves,
Haidee Corona, Andrea Potts, Jed Brian, Tyler Landers and Levi Atkins. The film was
released on DVD and through Amazon Streaming on Amazon November 14, 2017.
The movie was filmed entirely in Southeastern Illinois town of Sumner by Jed Brian’s
production company Lawford County Productions. Having a cast mostly from the Sumner
area and actress Haidee Corona from Shelbyville, IN. the film has a strong Midwestern feel.
The film is being released by Tomcat Films/ Summerhill Films.
Unlisted Owner has had a powerful opening on Amazon with pre-orders since launching
eleven weeks ago. The film has had stiff competition competing against… “IT” and “American Horror Story Season 6” to new film releases
such as “47 Meters Down” and “Jeepers Creepers 3″.
“It is so amazing to see Unlisted Owner do so well competing against such well known new releases in the toughest time of competition for a horror film.”

Question of the Week
Exclusive Interview Bel Deliá (72:34)
Exclusive Interview Helen Shang (110:05)
On Wednesday, December 20th, 2017 and Friday, December 22nd, 2017 I had the opportunity to
speak with Actress, Producer Bel Deliá, and screenwriter Helen Shang. Both Deliá and Shang were part of the award-winning horror thriller, Scratch. The film won the award for Thriller short at
this year’s Women in Horror Film Festival.
In my interview with Bel Deliá we scratched the surface (pun intended) on the character Deliá portrayed in the film Scratch. Also discussed is the psychological expression of the film and of course
women’s contribution to horror over the years.
In the second interview, Helen Shang went in depth on her period set psychological thriller. The invocation
and reexamination of a suppressed female model under a dominant male antagonist are portrayed in the film Scratch. Sang and I without offering spoilers tackle the issues of the film, Scratch.
Scratch had success in the film festival circuit this year and will release in 2018 for the general
public. No information is offered for the release. Stay tuned to DecayMag for additional
