Big Trouble In Little China and Escape From New York are two separate film concepts. Yet, these films share a few common denominators. For one, actor Kurt Russell stars as the protagonist for each film. Comic book and graphic novel publisher Boom! Studios are planning to bring these classics together.
Big Trouble In Little China is an Action, Adventure, Comedy directed by John Carpenter. The film released in 1986 and became an instant success and classic amongst movie viewers. Escape From New York is an Action, Sci-Fi also at the helm is John Carpenter.
Big Trouble In Little China comic books is written by Greg Pak and illustrated by Daniel Bayliss. Escape From New York: Volume One is created by Christopher Sebela, Diego Baretto, and Tim Bradstreet. The six-part series will debut in October.

The Lost Boys is also being transitioned into a comic book. This literary adaptation serves as a sequel to the Comedy, Fantasy, Horror directed by Joe Schumacher. The film released in 1987 and would become a cult classic. The Lost Boys holds a reputation as one of the best vampire flicks of all time.
The first issue of The Lost Boys comic will release October 12, 2016. Tim Heeley is the writer, and Scott Godlewski and Patricia Mulvihill is the artist. Cover art is by Tony Harris.
