Cambridge Community Television (CCTV) Open Call!

Attention aspiring producers, filmmakers, creative artists and all around horror enthusiasts. The Cambridge Community Television in Cambridge, Massachusetts is currently holding an open call submission for horror movie shorts. Entries will be screened under a juried panel on Thursday the 29th of October 2015 for inclusion on Cambridge Community Television (CCTV) Horrorfest 2015.

Cambridge Community Television (CCTV) is looking for submissions that delve into the horror genre and associated sub-genres such as; Thrillers, Psychological, Creature, Slasher, Animated and Fantasy, etcetera… The criteria for entries must be under twenty minutes in length and the best thing about this open call film submission is the fact that it’s absolutely free.

If you are interested in showing your work, please send an email with the following to: allison@cctvcambridge.org

your name and contact information (address/phone/email)

the name of your piece and running time

a short statement of how your work reflects the theme (horror)

a link to your piece (if the piece is password protected, please provide details)

please let us know if you will be able to attend the screening and participate in a Q&A

Submission deadline is Thursday October 15th at midnight. Filmmakers will be notified of acceptance by Monday, October 19th. Please be prepared to deliver or send a high resolution file if accepted.
