All of you aspiring filmmakers and directors take note. Crypt TV and Fullscreen is holding a 30-second film contest.

If you’ve dreamed of having your idea on the big screen, now is the chance to get your feet wet. You have 30 seconds or less to come up with the scariest pitch you can think of.

How does one come up with any pitch in 30 seconds or less, let alone a scary one? Don’t be so quick to doubt yourself, as anyone with a creative imagination can complete this task. Here’s a helpful starting point: Crypt TVWhat is the most disturbing dream you’ve ever had? Was it terrifying? Does it have the potential to be one of the scariest films ever? Make sure you choose wisely, as you have some tough people to impress: Eli Roth, Julia Kelly,Danny Trejo.

If anyone knows the work of Eli Roth and Danny Trejo, then you definitely have your work cut out for you. But, remember, you only have 30 seconds. Make it count.

want to unearth the most inventive new voices in the horror genre with “El Terror.” They’ve kicked off a call for 30-second teasers that have the chance to chill and thrill horror fans from around the world on the Fullscreen subscription video-on-demand platform.

To participate, creators can visit and upload their 30-second or fewer horror teasers byThursday, September 1, 2016.

Ten finalists, who will be announced later this fall, will win cash prizes to develop their concepts into series, and on Halloween, one grand prize winner will be awarded $50,000 to create a series with Crypt TV to premiere exclusively on Fullscreen’s new SVOD platform.
