Daybreak Games Unveils New Additions to “H1Z1”
Daybreak Games announced the expansion to the “H1Z1” franchise with two new titles. The online zombie survival horror game will morph into be available in two versions. One will cater to Horror gaming enthusiasts. The second will tailor the Action run and gun community of gamers.
The games will vary as far as game play and aesthetics.
- “H1Z1: Just Survive”. This particular title will offer players realistic options to face a zombie infected open world environment. Scavenging, crafting, and base building are keys to survival in this Survival Horror game.
- “H1Z1: King of the Kill” is a Third Person Shooter (TPS) multiplayer PvP shooter. Unlike “Just Survive” “King of the Kill” will focus on human versus human shoot ’em up combat. Will there be zombie present in “King of the Kill”? Not likely. The game features fight-to-the-death game modes, including Battle Royale.
Both games will be available on Steam Early Access on Wednesday the 17th of February 2016. The retail price will be $19.99 each. Current “H1Z1” owners will receive both “King of the Kill” and “Just Survive”. The games will list in the Steam inventory the day of the release. According to the H1Z1 website:

Daybreak Games also added the option for gamers who don’t currently own “H1Z1”. Interested in obtaining both “H1Z1: Just Survive” and “H1Z1: King of the Kill”? Daybreak Community Manager, Greg Henninger shared his thoughts on the upcoming “King of the Kill” title. He Stated:
“King of the Kill is being developed as a fast-paced shooter that will be comprised of multiple fight-to-the-death game modes, including Battle Royale…Players will compete in large-scale chaotic PvP spectacles of skill, wit, and a little luck, where everyone must fight to the death to stand alone at the top of the podium.”
