Grave Danger Seeks Kickstarter

Grave Danger is the next endeavor from Nebraska-based game developers JB Gaming. Founded in 2014 the company spent much of the year creating content for mobile gaming devices. JB Gaming now aims to delve into PC and console platforms with Grave Danger as the inaugural launch.

The game will offers horror aesthetics. There will be monster slaying a plenty. Yet, presented are not visuals that will conjure nightmares. JB Gaming is designing a family-oriented form of entertainment. Offered are both single player mode and cooperative play. There are three heroes to choose from; Dante the cowboy, Elliot the wizard, and Malice the reaper

Moreover, Grave Danger offers a nostalgic approach to its 2D side-scrolling platformer stylistic gameplay. Solve puzzles and fighting monsters what’s more to ask for!

According to the press release:

“….Grave Danger is an inspired love letter to gamers that promises to bring quirky team-based puzzles similar to greats like the Lost Vikings to computers and consoles….”

Kickstarter Campaign

Grave Danger will be available for PC, Mac, Linux by the 31st of October 2016. By early 2017, the game will launch on Xbox One, PS4, and Wii U.

Yet, to make this idea into a reality JB Gaming launched a crowdfunding campaign. The goal is to reach thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000).

Grave Danger’s Kickstarter allows players to invest in the game by preordering their PC or console copy, and get limited edition backer-reserved merchandise.

The Kickstarter features stretch goals to increase the scope of the game’s development, including more bosses, worlds, characters, and online play.

Rewards available to backers are early bird prices, t-shirts, stainless steel emblems with unique character artwork, and a chance to put a tombstone with the player’s name on it within the game.
