Players will assume the role of Martial Art masters; Hiro, Meilin, and Shin. Each character presents different combat styles and attributes. Their capabilities get tested as each embarks on a perilous mission against The Black Mantis Clan. Okinawa Rush not only secures the essence of side scroller adventure games but also Martial Arts films. Fighting styles range from Wing Chun Kung Fu, Tai chi Chuan, and Ninjitsu.

The crowdfunding target is set for ten thousand British pounds (£10,000 goal) converted that corresponds to Thirteen thousand fifteen dollars ($13,015). Collected funds will extend into advancing the progress of Okinawa Rush. Although there are no specifics the Kickstarter profile mentions the areas that require attention. The core gameplay mechanics include visuals, music, and audio effects with each tackled with the absolute focus. The developers at Sokaikan have the vision to conceive an exceptional tribute to the throwback era of action games.
