“Goosebumps” goes Mobile

A collaboration between; Cosmic Forces, Sony Pictures Consumer Products and Scholastic are bringing  the”Goosebumps” franchise to a mobile gaming medium. The Game titled; “Goosebumps: Night of Scares” will be released sometime in October and will coincide with the theatrical release with the “Goosebumps” movie starring Dylan Minnette, Odeya Rush and Jack Black. “Goosebumps: Night of Scares” is slated for release as a multi-platform mobile, point-and-click survival adventure game. Jack Black will voice the role of R.L. Stine.

Both the “Goosebumps” game and movie share similar plot elements Monsters have escaped from the pages of Horror author R.L. Stein’s novels and are creating havoc in the real world. Players will engage iconic villains and monsters of the “Goosebumps” universe including Slappy the Dummy, The Werewolf of Fever Swamp, Murder the Clown while exploring R.L. Stine’s home. 

Ziad Seirafi, Founder and CEO of Cosmic Forces had this to say  about the upcoming game, “Goosebumps: Night of Scares”:

“We are thrilled to be teaming up with Sony Pictures and Scholastic on this ground-breaking mobile project around the equally exceptional Goosebumps series…The Goosebumps game will feature superbly animated characters, monsters, and scenery including a realistic interpretation of R.L. Stine’s haunted house, and a VR mode that will put players right inside the house.”

“Cosmic Forces will help us extend the life of the Goosebumps film into the mobile space, allowing Goosebumps fans to continue engaging with the series, and its characters long after they experience the thrill of the film,”

Unfortunately, game play footage to “Goosebumps: Night of Scares” is not yet available.
