Mortal Kombat Pack 2 Will Feature Horror Icons, Again

Mortal Kombat X Pack 2 will be available as a DLC (Downloadable Content)  some time between the first of January to the thirty-first of March 2016 (first quarter of 2016). The new fighters added to the “Mortal Kombat X” universe are Horror serial killer Leatherface from “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” movie franchise, The Xenomorph creature, popularly known as Alien from the Sci-Fi horror franchise “Alien(s)” and “Prometheus”.

In addition, included to the “Mortal Kombat” roster are are Bo Rai Cho who originally made his appearance in “Motal Kombat: Deadly Alliance”  and Tri-Borg a character that fuses combinations of Cyrax, Sektor, and Robot Smoke.

Mortal Kombat X Reveal Leaked online

The news initially release on the 3rd of December 2015 via a leaked video uploaded to Youtube. The video which has since been removed was slated to air during the Game Awards 2015. However, despite the attempt to stop the premature news reveal damage had already been done against the promo. Gaming website; All games Beta  had already screen captured images and vital information and posted it on their webiste. Just goes to show its impossible to stop currents on the web.

The new roster will join previously featured terrors of horror cinema that includes; the deadly alien hunter, Predator, and the slasher from Camp Crystal Lake, the one and only, Jason Voorhees.  Also included in the first DLC were Klassic combatants Tanya and tremor. 

Although no specific date is set for the release of “Mortal Kombat X” Pack 2, its obvious that the content will be available via PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, and PS3. The price much like the first DLC to “Mortal Kombat X” will probably run around thirty  dollars ($30).
