Sky Sharks Game In Planning Stages

A video game adaptation to the the campy Nazi themed Horror film “Sky Sharks” is in the planning stages. The press release stated the following:

Remote control productions secured the exclusive rights to develop the official game.

The information provided describes the successful crowdfunding campaign that made the film a possibility. Marc Fehse is the creator and director to “Sky Sharks”. Fehse’s Marc Fehse's Sky Sharksfilm centers on an interesting concept involving Nazis, zombies and flying, rocket-equipped sharks. As outrageous as that sounds the film may be destined to be a cult classic. A video game is set to be develop by Munich-based company Remote Control Productions GmbH .

The film is set to release in theaters within Germany on the fourth quarter, 2017. “Sky Sharks” the video game will coincide with the film release. An American release date is not announced yet.

The synopsis to the film “Sky Sharks” reads as follows:

“Deep in the ice of the antarctic, a team of geologists uncover an old nazi laboratory still intact where dark experiments had occured. In order to conquer the world, the Nazis created modified sharks who were able to fly and whose riders are genetically mutated, undead super-humans. A miltary task force called “Dead Flesh Four” – reanimated US soldiers who fell in Vietnam – is put together to prevent world downfall.” 

Remote Control will mirror the element of the film within the video game adaptation. Yet, no further information is available on game-play, design, and platform distribution. The press release finalizes with the following statement:

In cooperation with the entire Sky Sharks-team, one of remote control productions’ numerous studios will be responsible for the game -development.
Publisher inquiries are explicitly welcome. Further information will be announced in the near future.

Not only will Horror enthusiast be looking forward to rocket equipped flying sharks but a video game as well. Who figured?
